4-H Rifle Team Competes in Junior Olympics

The West Feliciana 4- H Precision Rifle team repeated as state champs for the fourth year and represented Louisiana at the 2008 National Junior Olympic 3-P Rifle Championship. The championship was held in Anniston Alabama at the new CMP indoor range just completed for this event.
West Feliciana 4-H was represented by Michael Liuzza, Christian Hashagen, Leah Ewing, Tanner Morgan and Collin Morgan. Michael Liuzza placed 5th overall for his age group (15 & 16 year-olds) and Leah Ewing placed 8th for her age (13 & 14 year-olds). West Feliciana 4-H was called to the awards podium and certificates were given to both Michael and Leah.
At the end of the competition West Feliciana 4-H team members overall placed as follows: Michael Liuzza 27th, Christian Hashagen 122nd, Leah Ewing 125th, Collin Morgan 154th, and Tanner Morgan 156th out of 162 competitors from 13 to 19 years of age.
The West Feliciana team placed 21st in the competition.
