Consumers have plenty to worry about during the current challenging economy. Making a wrong move in personal finances could make a bad situation worse.

In the past month, I have read letters to the editors of local papers, heard comments to radio talk show hosts and have heard it repeated on the streets many times, “Why can’t we use these mountains of storm debris for coastal restoration?” The answer to that question is not very simple.
