2008 St. Mary Fair and Livestock Show Results
The 2008 Fair and Livestock Show was held January 17-19, 2008, at Franklin Senior High School in Franklin. A total of 90 4-H and FFA Livestock Division exhibitors showed 334 animals, including market and breeding swine, market and breeding goats, market steers, beef breeding, rabbits, and poultry. Swine, goat, and beef entries will also compete at the District level, and then, along with broilers and poultry, will compete at the LSU State Livestock Show in Gonzales.
In the Homemaking Division, exhibitors entered a total of 900 cookery, vegetables, horticulture, handicraft and photography entries. Many of these, such as electric switches and photographs, are a result of a the exhibitor's yearly project.
