The LSU AgCenter is proud to announce the addition of Kacy Rhymes Brown to the staff. Kacy will be working as an intern this summer learning about the AgCenter. Kacy is a senior at Northwestern State University studying Family and Consumer Sciences with a concentration in Nutrition and Food Systems Management. She is minoring in both Chemistry and Culinary Arts. She plans to get a Master’s degree in Dietetics and take the exam to become a Registered Dietitian. Kacy is married to Scott Brown who is also a senior at Northwestern State University studying Hospitality Management and Tourism. Kacy has a two year-old daughter, Kylie Brown. Kacy is involved in school and her community; she is a member of NSU’s Purple Jacket Honor Society, the Kappa Omicron Nu Honor Society, NSU’s Student Safety Committee, NSU’s Residential Life Committee, and the River Community Church.
