| Natchitoches Parish Cookery Contest Winners |
4-H students from Natchitoches Parish stirred things up in the Area Cookery Contest held April 16, 2008 at the LA Technical College in Shreveport. Participants competed against 4-Hers from eleven of the surrounding parishes in Beef, Egg, Pecan, Poultry and Seafood Divisions. The contest consisted of dish preparation/presentation, a written test on nutrition guidelines and an educational program. Winners include from left to right, back row: Ashton Cruse, Samantha Pool, Adriana Wohletz and Brittney Wells; front row: Taylor Roberts, Leneigh Hennigan, Tyler Roberts and Aaron Savell.
