The annual Iberia Parish 4-H Fall Fun Day was held Saturday, November 8, 2008, at Sugarland Elementary School. During the event, 4-H'ers could participate in the following: Beef, Rice and Seafood Cookery Contest; Bicycle Rodeo; and Steps to Fitness Expo. Approximately 200 4-H'ers, parents and volunteers participated in this educational and fun event.

The annual Acadiana District 4-H Livestock Show will take place at the Blackham Coliseum in Lafayette, Louisiana February 4-7, 2009.
