A Bread Baking Workshop was held in the Avoyelles Parish Extension office in February of 2008.  Esther Coco-Vanderlick was the class instructor.  Here are images from that workshop.

Cinnamon rolls were a fun part of the afternoon. We debated between raisins and no raisins and then decided that raisins had to be included to add extra nutrition. Some voted that they could be picked out if they didn’t like them anyway.

Tortillas for lunch! That’s right. The 4-Hers had to make their own lunch out of tortillas. Then they filled them with beans, cheese and topped them with sour cream and cheese. Delicious!

Pretzels were a big hit at this workshop. Salty or Sweet they were a real treat!
