The Assumption 4-H Jr. Leader Club participates in many events throughout the year and every summer the members are rewarded with a trip that is voted on by the club. This year the trip was to Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. The club flew out of New Orleans on Monday, July 14 and returned home on Thursday, July 17, 2008. While at Universal Studios the club took advantage of their time and had 4 full days of fun. They visited Wet N’ Wild, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and City Walk.
Jr. Leaders attending the trip were: Regan Adolph, Matthew Alleman, Karen Bergeron, Dylan Blanchard, Brent Blanchard, Brittany Boudreaux, Cherie Cancienne, LaShawn Carter, Lana Cavalier, Chana Cazenave, Hannah Daigle, Lucy Daigle, Milton Daigle, Sierra Dennis, Allison Gravois, April Gros, Megan Hamel, Cody Hood, Hannah Landry, Morgan LeBlanc, Chase LeBlanc, Jason Loewen, Tiffany Loewen, Amber Meads, Trevor Prejean, Ashley Sagona, Nicholas Stelly, Mandy Thibodaux, Blaise Traigle, Randi Watson, Frankie Westerfield, Nicole Westerfield and Blair Woods. Chaperones attending the trip were: Jan Boudreaux, Norma Cazenave, Charlene Daigle, Colette Gravois and Joanne Loewen. The Assumption 4-H agents attending were Margo Castro and Renee Castro. A great time was had by all.
