Forages and Forage Management

Pond inundation, or flooding, begins the chain of events that establish the environment from which crawfish obtain most of their nutrients. Put simply, the forage crop serves as the fuel for a food web, with crawfish at the top of the food web. This document is Chapter 5 in the Louisiana Crawfish Production Manual.
