Areas of Specialization/Research
She is the research associate in plant pathology at the Pecan Research/Extension Station.
Her duties include:
- Field testing fungicides for control of pecan diseases
- Evaluating efficacy of labeled and non-labeled fungicides for pecan pest control
- Monitoring disease development during the growing season
- Developing data on economic effects, disease distribution, cultivar susceptibility, spread, and management of Pecan Bacterial Leaf Scorch
- Maintaining, isolating, and classifying fungal and bacterial cultures in the laboratory
She is also the content reviewer for the Pecan Research/Extension Station website. |
