4-H Stories Needed for National 4-H Book

Do you have a special 4-H story you’d like to share?

An editorial team is collecting stories for a book from the entire 4-H family including members, volunteers, agents, state staff, donors, family members and others. The book will be similar to the "Chicken Soup for the Soul" series. The editorial team is look for stories from all 50 states sharing positive personal experiences on the value of 4-H, activities/events, learning experiences, funny situations and other items. Stories about 4-H folk who have inspired, motivated and made a difference in the lives of others are solicited.

Stories should include information about the setting or situation, approximate time frame and must include the name, address and contact information of the writer. The editorial team will accept stories of up to three double-spaced pages with 1-inch margins in a Word document using 12 point Times Roman font.

Please share this opportunity with your 4-H members, alumni, volunteers, donors and co-workers.

Send your stories to Janet Fox, Southern Region Associate Editor at jfox@agcenter.lsu.edu or Dan Tabler, Lead Editor at dtabler@umd.edu.
